French Quarter Trip

Yesterday, my boyfriend had a meeting & he let me tag along so we could spend the day in the French Quarter. It was a little raining, but the day was a fun one anyway. 

We ended up going to one of the toy stores in the quarter & my boyfriend came across this gem, an Edgar Allen Poe action figure. He is one of my favorite writers & of course, the boyfriend bought him for me. 😆 He now sits in the clutter that is my desk. 

We also came across a store called Papier Plume that sold pens, quills, journals, & briefcases. Of course, by the time we found it, it was closed. However, we are going to go back one day to check it out in person rather than through the windows.
