Charlie Con Haul

Charlie Con was yesterday & it's an event put on by 2nd and Charles.  My boyfriend and I practically live at this story.  They sell vinyls, comics, books, toys, retro video games.  Basically, you can find anything your heart desires.  So, they put on this mini con & I think it's the 2nd Charlie Con, but don't quote me on that.  Anyway, we didn't go crazy at this con, but I did come away with one book.  I picked up Cold Streak by Lewis Aleman.  This Aleman's first novel & he was giving away copies for free & selling his two newest ones.  

I'm really excited to start reading this, especially since he is a local author.  I didn't get it signed which is crazy because usually I don't miss that.  Oh Well.  Doesn't change my excitement for getting this book.  For anyone who is interested in finding out some more about his work, I'll link his website here.
